About

Should I write in Czech? Or in English? I just couldn't decide. It seems there will be a bit of both on this blog.

Czech, because I wanted to keep my family updated, as well as my friends (who are way too lazy to read in English) and then English, because that makes sense. When my instagram, deviantart and facebook page are pretty much all written in English, why the largest part of my writing would be in another language? Especially when stories often run through my head in English. So let's give it a try...

Psát česky? Nebo anglicky? Nemohla jsem se rozhodnout. Vypadá to, že tu bude od obojího trochu. Víc ale v té angličtině, takže angličtí nečtenáři prominou.

WHO AM I?

My name is Aneta, although I don't think that defines me - you can usually find me online as Anyffe. I love photography. I love travelling. Also good stories or gripping books. I love languages and interesting conversations. I love beautiful videos. And all of that I would like to share here. Hopefully inspire someone to take a trip, learn a new skill or read a book. Or whatever else.

I started this blog when I moved to Spain to do my internship as a segway tour guide. I wanted my family and friends to be updated, not to repeat the same story ten times to everyone who'd ask "how are you?". And here I am a few months later, still struggling with the concept, still changing details, photos, language and everything else. This blog is just one huge thing in progress (Reminds me of my friend Negin... Hi, if you read this ;) ).

I would also like to share a lot of my past stories. The school trips around Europe back in highschool, living abroad during my Erasmus in Oviedo, my first solo trip to Barcelona, short excursions and stories from the Czech Republic, road trip in UK, life as aupair, being a linguistics student. And many more thought and ideas.

Basically, this will be a messy blog of a 23-year-old Czech girl, who's trying to find meaning in what she's doing.

Hopefully you will find here something you're interested in. If not, then any idea what to write about will be welcomed. Or just feel free to leave.

Also, take into consideration that I am not a native English speaker and may be seen in my writing. If you spot any mistake, I'd be glad for your feedback.
